Oumou came to the U.S. from Senegal and made Kentucky her home. She’s a wife and loving mother to her children, including a proud U.S. Army soldier. Guided by faith, service, and compassion, she is an advocate dedicated to building a future where all families can thrive.
Oumou is passionate about human rights, justice, and accessible healthcare for all. She believes our political system must serve the people—not corporate interests or billionaires. That’s why she refuses to accept donations from AIPAC or corporate PACs and is committed to taking money out of politics. If elected, she will work tirelessly in Congress to amplify the voices of the community and fight for fairness, equity, and opportunity.
